Boardman Park Names New Leadership Team, Celebrates 75 Years

BOARDMAN — Boardman Township Park had several reasons to celebrate in 2022. The “Green Oasis,” which provides 60 acres of recreational space and 234 acres of natural habitat, marked its 75th anniversary with an event in August. The park also celebrated Dan Slagle’s 50 years of service. Slagle began on the park ground crew in 1972 and was promoted to executive director in 1992. He retired in October.
