HD Davis, White Glove Payroll Report Promotions, New Hires
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — HD Davis CPAs and its sister firm, White Glove Payroll, this week announced that six employees have been promoted and four individuals recently were hired.
The companies are based in the Churchill Park Plaza at 4308 Belmont Ave.
What follows is a summary of the individuals’ work history and their duties with the firms.
Katie Taylor, controller: Taylor graduated from Kent State University in 2007 with a major in marketing. Before coming to HD Davis, she was a marketing coordinator in the aviation industry. She later learned that she enjoyed more data driven tactics for a position and transitioned to administrative assistant for HD Davis CPAs. Since then she has worked her way up through the finance team and is now the firm’s controller.
Alyssa Gray, Senior accountant: Gray started with HD Davis as a staff accountant in 2022. She specializes in bookkeeping, taxes, and is the firm’s payroll trainer for accounting needs. She earned her bachelor and master’s degree in accounting from Youngstown State University.
Angela Frazis, senior accountant: Frazis has been with HD Davis for almost three years, beginning as an accounting intern. During this time, she completed her bachelor degree in accounting at Youngstown State University. Since her start at HD Davis she has worked her way up through the ranks and also serves on the internal training team.
Bradley Linton, senior accountant: Linton serves on the internal training team. He was born and raised in Austintown and attended Youngstown State University for his degree in accounting.
Gina Getsy, CPA, senior accountant: Getsy began at HD Davis as a staff accountant working on her CPA. She is now a fully certified CPA as of 2023. She earned both her bachelor and master’s degrees from Youngstown State University.
Shelby Timms, executive assistant: Timms started with HD Davis on the admin team as an administrative assistant. She has previous employment experience in corporate/travel training and operations. She now serves as the executive assistant to the firm’s managing partner, Tim Petrey.
Ava Kusky, administrative assistant: Kusky is the team’s newest addition to the admin group. She will be an administrative assistant.
Brooke Marrie, administrative assistant: Marrie is one of HD’s newest administrative assistants. Brooke enjoys spending time with her son and very large family.
Michelle Hults: Hults joined the White Glove Payroll team in June. She brings with her years of payroll and financial experience in both the private and public sectors, with county government being the most recent.
Deanna Parsons: Parsons will be joining White Glove Payroll on Sept. 5. She has been working in the accounting world for over 15 years and obtained her CPA license in 2014.
